Witchy bib necklace featuring a large detailed cat face surrounded by white cherry blossom flowers, White Opal Swarovski® crystal pendants, moons and stars.

OPALITE (also known as Sea Opal or opalised glass) is a man-made gemstone known for it's striking appearance - it fluoresces with a pale blue glow in daylight, and intensely under UV light.

The photos were taken in full sunlight, where the effect is most obvious.

The cat itself changes to glow vivid orange under direct lighting, like a burning coal.

I chose milky White Opal Czech beads and opal/silk blend Swarovski® crystals to complement her - weaving them into a freeform wire wrap bib necklace with a lot of time, copper wire and small leaf charms.

The result is a unique gothic fantasy necklace flowing with organic patterns and layers of beads, crystals and flowers.

The copper was then tarnished to tone down the shine, match the bronze leaf charms and give it an ancient heirloom / antique relic effect.

The bib was then encrusted with more small crystals, round Opalite beads and Czech beads in milky White Opal colour to match, and finally Swarovski® pendants suspended underneath in a multitude of shapes and colours - crystal drops, snowflakes, moons and a large moth pendant.

Suspended from a copper chain (adnustabl to any length) featuring rose flower motifs. Fastens with a lobster clasp with a star charm on the end.

MEASUREMENTS:

BIB part is 17cm wide by 17cm long, including the crystals underneath / 7 by 7 inches.

CHAIN is 45 cm long (adjustable) // 17 1/2 inches
